- tailor of solutions for organizations and communities in private and public sectors.
- started in 2001 by Danish artist Per Traasdahl.

ArtSourceLab is working on the "engineering of social systems". We share our concern with WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. Our output is always case-specific. Hence this website is the satelite of our doings pointing to specific concepts and results.

What it takes to make social systems sustainable:
- a more precise and outspoken strategic planning of participatory processes.(our key-concept: "Social Meta-Structures", see below)
- a better sense of fairness based "game-rule" design.(see the "Community Fairways" poster, download below)
- the analysis, monitoring and balancing of values concerning all stakeholders in case specific social systems, including non-monitary values such as psychosocial knowledge and behavior. (our key-concept for the monitoring of this: "The CaseMonitor Project", see below)
- last but not least: the employment of micro-economic market-place dynamics as motor of social dynamics; without which a "give and take" mentality will not be sustainable.(see the "TeenKom" system and "Virtual Cluster")

TeenKom
ein preisgekröntes Konzept (1.Innovationspreis der Jugend- und Familiestiftung des Landes Berlin 2002): Jugendliche, Stadtteil, kleine Jobs, TeenKom "Spielkultur" und vielfältige resultierende (strategisch geplante) "Nebeneffekte": Integration, Stärkung lokaler Ökonomie, Berufsorientierung für Jugendliche, Stärkung der Selbstbewusstsein unter Jugendliche, Stärkung der räumlichen Sicherheitsgefühl (präventive Kriminalitätsbekämpfung) etc.

What is TeenKom?
TeenKom is both: An art project and a social model-project, a role game and reality. Adolescents can establish their own community with the TeenKom system, monitor their doings on an internet-based administration platform, acquire and execute short term jobs (in TeenKom named “Flash Jobs”). Hence, in an atmosphere of fun and self-determination, they gain trust and motivation concerning their own future.
